Alecia is Vice President of Milano Monuments and responsible for Human Resources and Sales. She is the daughter of our beloved Maria who died in 2012. When growing up, Alecia spent quite a bit of time working with her mother doing any task she was asked to do for her. Today, she listens to families who are willing to share their stories so she can do as much as possible to help them create everything from a beautiful memorial to a flower arrangement. She loves to greet people when they come to our showroom for the first time and makes sure that each and every family is well taken care of.
Most Memorable Moment:
“When I was able to work Sundays in high school there were regular customers who would come in. There was this one women who lived through the Holocaust. She was the only survivor in her family. She escaped from her camp and came to America. A friend of hers at the camp also escaped at a later time. They never had contact after escaping—until years afterward they ran into each in Cleveland. They dated, got married, had kids, and lived a long life together. After he died, she always came in to Milano to buy flowers and then take them to the cemetery. I’ll never forget being able to take care of her and develop a very loving relationship.”
