How to Choose a Memorial

At Milano Monuments, we understand that purchasing a memorial is a major investment of time and money requiring great thought and care. Our goal is to make the process as easy as possible by showing you the many memorial options available to you in a relaxed, stress-free environment.

First, we recommend you visit our showroom on Brookpark Road in Cleveland, take a tour of the facility, and speak with one of our Memorial Consultants. If you cannot make it to our showroom, let us give you a virtual tour of our facility and walk you through the memorial selection process.  We promise that we will make it very convenient for you as we have many out of town customers. Here you can view every type of grave marker, headstone and cemetery monument we create. See memorials up close and sense what type calls to you—the color, shape and style of the granite, the inscription and lettering style, any etchings or engravings. The possibilities are virtually limitless.

We will also show you other items to adorn the memorial as well, including remembrance lamps, vases, floral attachments, flag holders, religious items and even reproduction photos that are available to incorporate into your tribute.

Should your dear departed be cremated, we have all kinds beautiful memorial urns and other containers in our Memorial Showroom. Did you know that we can insert the cremated remains into almost any type of granite gravestone, grave marker, headstone or memorial bench?

At Milano Monuments, we carry only the highest quality granite for headstones and cemetery monuments that will last for centuries with little or no deterioration. And our craftsmanship on each headstone is impeccable. That’s why we can warranty every cemetery monument against defects in material, workmanship, and installation.

Remember, cemeteries have rules and regulations concerning the types of memorials they allow. Certain gravestones, grave markers, or monuments may not be permitted in the area of your particular gravesite or in the cemetery at all. As a member of the Monument Builders of North America, we have access to detailed information on every cemetery and can tell you what is and isn’t allowed.

You have a wide range of options when choosing a memorial for your loved one. We can help make sure that the memorial itself is one you will love!
